Andrew is a qualified metallurgist (MIMMM) with a particular
speciality in metallurgical processing (MSc) and non-destructive testing.
He achieved Level III qualification in Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection
in 1984 and as such has over 20 years experience in NDT processes and inspection.
As Managing Director of Ely Chemical, Andrew has led and developed his team at Ely, to
be a major name and technology leader in NDT Materials. Maintaining his technical
interest, Andrew still retains a direct involvement in product development and regularly
presents technical papers internationally and is actively involved in expanding Ely's market.
Andrew is a Fellow of the British Institute of NDT; a Member of the Institute of Materials
and actively contributes to the ASNT, SAE and UK Institutes.
Terry is the Sales Manager for Ely and is a qualified Metallurgist with extensive
sales experience within the NDT industry acquired over the past twenty five years. Terry heads up
our sales team and provides the direct link between our products, technical and sales office
support and our customers.
As with all of the senior team at Ely, Terry provides an important input to the development
of our products and brings specific experience to the team on NDT plant and equipment.
Terry participates regularly in the activities of the British Institute of NDT and is an
active member of the trade group.
Eric has a BSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Durham. He
is Ely's Senior Chemist with over 18 years experience with NDT products. . Eric joined Ely
from within the Dane Group and as such has specialised knowledge of Fluorescent Materials,
Inks and Coatings. He has extensive knowledge of surface chemistry and is actively
involved in product development.
Eric has successfully developed and maintained comprehensive Quality Control systems
of a very high standard and integrity over many years and maintains a direct
involvement with the manufacture and the introduction of new products.
With over 30 years direct "hands on" involvement in Non destructive testing together
with Manufacturing Operations Management experience, Roche has been with Ely Chemical Inc from the first
day. No one in the USA has a greater working knowledge of the Ely Product range and it's applications
and represented the range in the US long before the establishment of the South bend Facility.
Following formal academic training in Science, whilst serving in the US Navy, Roche received
initial and advanced training in PT, MT, RT, UT and ET. Additional formal training was received
in UT at MQS, RT at Rocketdyne and ET with Zetec. Throughout his career, Roche has gained level
III certification in RT, PT and MT and ASNT level III PT.
Debbie has worked with Ely Chemical Inc since 2003 and heads up the Sales Order Processing and
Customer Service Team. More often than not "the voice on the end of the telephone" Debbie provides the link between
customer, stock allocation, packing, transportation (Debbie is qualified in HAZ MAT Functions) and Invoicing.
With routinely direct links to the UK on both NDT and Inter-Company for other Dane Group Companies for which Ely
Inc provides support within the US Debbie provides a "safe and experienced "pair of hands at this most
critical part of the organisation.
