In 1995, Ely acquired the NDT business from Castrol having previously been responsible for
the development and manufacture of their NDT product range for over 20 years. |

Ely's range of Dye Penetrants, Magnetic Particle products and ultrasonic coupling
agents are now available world wide through a growing network of distributors or on a direct basis
where a distributor has not yet been appointed.
The technical know how and experience gained in producing and continually improving and supporting
the extensive NDT product range, has been successfully applied to the development and production
of other specialist products for critical applications.
